If you are worried about gum disease, at Duperly & Lanner we offer periodontal services to stop progression and restore dental health. In dental cleaning, which must be done every six months, the Peridoncist, will perform and assess whether there are periodontal pockets, will measure its depth to determine the extent of the disease.
If necessary, the calculus or tartar that is below the gum line will be removed and the roots of the teeth will be smoothed, a procedure called detrartment and root smoothing, can change course and eliminate the infection.
