In Duperly & Lanner dental group, our dentists perform a comprehensive and thorough oral exam during your initial visit. During subsequent control visits, your dentist will also request the following:
- - Diagnostic X-ray examination (x-rays): Essential for the detection of caries, tumors, cysts and bone loss.
- - X-rays also help determine the positions of teeth and roots.
- -Oral cancer screening: we examine your face, neck, lips, tongue, throat, tissues and gums to detect any signs of oral cancer.
- - Evaluation of gum disease: we check the gums and bone around the teeth to detect any signs of periodontal disease.
- - Dental caries: We use special dental instruments to check all tooth surfaces for tooth decay.
- - Examination of existing restorations: we examine the condition of existing restorations, crowns, etc.
- -Oral health education, which is basic for the maintenance, good prognosis and care of existing treatments.
